State significant sites

Potential site: Wyong Employment Zone

Description: The Minister has agreed to consider the Wyong Employment Zone as a potential State significant site for inclusion in Schedule 3 of the State Environmental Planning Policy (Major Projects) 2005 as the Wyong Employment Zone is of regional importance having been identified in the draft Central Coast Regional Strategy for employments lands. The rezoning of the Wyong Employment Zone will assist in delivering employment targets as set out in the draft Central Coast Regional Strategy. Exhibition fact sheet
Location: The Wyong Employment Zone site lies adjacent to the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway at the Sparks Road interchange on the Central Coast of NSW

Draft Infrastructure Plan

The Draft Infrastructure Plan provides a basis for contributions towards subregional infrastructure and biodiversity offsets to facilitate development of the Warnervale Town Centre, and should be read in conjunction with the draft SEPP.

Biodiversity Certification Report

The Department of Planning is seeking for the Minister for the Climate Change, Environment and Water to confer biodiversity certification of the draft SEPP under section 126G of the NSW Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995. The Minister can biodiversity certify an environmental planning instrument if he is satisfied that it will lead to the overall improvement or maintenance of biodiversity values.
